Duties
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items for catering events.
- Set up and break down catering equipment and supplies at event locations.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Collaborate with the catering team to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas before, during, and after events.
- Help manage dietary requirements by assisting in the preparation of special menu items.
Experience
- Previous experience in catering, restaurant, or fine dining environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is essential.
- Experience as a dietary aide or in customer service roles is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment are crucial.
- A passion for food preparation and an eagerness to learn about the catering industry will be highly valued.
