Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits through engaging product demos.
- Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring efficient cash handling.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product offerings to effectively sell to customers.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and organizing merchandise displays.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth store operations.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory counts as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required.
- Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as this will enhance communication with a diverse customer base.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers positively.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts and basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
- Experience with POS systems is advantageous but training will be provided for the right candidate.
