IDR is seeking a Senior Counsel, Commercial & Strategic Transactions to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Louisville, CO. This role offers an excellent chance to work within a leading organization in the technology or regulated industry sector, focusing on complex commercial agreements and strategic partnerships.
Position Overview for the Senior Counsel, Commercial & Strategic Transactions:

Provide legal guidance on customer and strategic partnership agreements, government and research contracts, licensing, and technology development agreements.

Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS, data, vendor, and procurement agreements.

Support the legal aspects of emerging technologies and strategic initiatives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation.

Drive high-impact decisions and support company growth through strategic legal counsel.
Requirements for the Senior Counsel, Commercial & Strategic Transactions:

JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.

6+ years of relevant legal experience, including substantial responsibility for complex commercial transactions; top-tier law firm training strongly preferred.

Significant experience negotiating complex commercial agreements.

Experience in technology, advanced research, aerospace, defense, or regulated industries preferred.

Comfort operating in a lean environment with high ownership and limited bureaucracy.
