Business Development Manager Position Summary
Fisher Space Pen is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, develop strategic customer relationships, and expand market opportunities across multiple sales channels. This role is responsible for managing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, supporting channel growth initiatives, processing orders, and working cross-functionally with marketing and operations to execute sales strategies. The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional with experience managing customer relationships, developing business plans, and delivering measurable revenue growth. Experience working with distributors, corporate accounts, specialty retail, and branded merchandise programs is highly desirable.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting salary: $80,000-$90,000 annually, depending on experience
- Performance-based commission equal to 3% of net margin revenue growth above the prior-year baseline

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
- Conduct regular account reviews and develop growth plans for key customers.
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive activity to identify opportunities.
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings as needed.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and customer activity records.
- Assist with pricing strategies, customer negotiations, and contract management.
- Field inbound sales and process orders.
- Work closely with customer service, operations, and production teams to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in: Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of sales, account management, or business development experience.
- Proven track record of achieving sales growth and developing customer relationships.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience working with distributors, dealer networks, or national accounts preferred.
- Familiarity with sales reporting tools.
- Ability to travel as required.
