About the Role
Drive & Shine is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician Supervisor for a full-time, contract-to-hire 1st shift opportunity through Specialized Staffing Solutions.
You will be employed full-time by Specialized Staffing Solutions and eligible for their benefits package while working onsite at Drive & Shine locations in the Kalamazoo area. This position provides the opportunity to transition into a permanent role with Drive & Shine based on performance and business needs.
What You’ll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Maintain and repair motors, pumps, compressors, conveyors, and automated systems
- Install, assemble, and repair piping systems and components
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Support basic electrical and plumbing maintenance needs
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Follow OSHA safety standards and company procedures
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience (required)
- 3+ years of leadership experience (required)
- Experience with industrial equipment installation and maintenance
- Familiarity with robotics, automation, or conveyor systems (preferred)
- Welding experience (TIG, MIG, Stick) is a plus
- Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Work Environment & Requirements
- Ability to travel between locations within the Kzoo area
- Reliable transportation required (mileage reimbursed)
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits (Through Specialized Staffing Solutions)
- Full-time hours with competitive pay: $30 – $38/hour
