Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality metal structures and products, supporting our commitment to excellence in fabrication and craftsmanship. Duties
- Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication shop drawings to accurately produce components
- Measure materials and finished parts using calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and other precision tools to ensure specifications are met
- Perform various welding techniques including MIG , TIG, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Assemble sheet metal and other metal materials using plasma cutters, power tools, and machining equipment
- Fabricate metal structures by cutting, welding, grinding, and assembling parts in accordance with safety protocols and quality standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical blueprints for accurate fabrication and assembly
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times during construction site or shop operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience working on construction sites or in a fabrication shop environment with metal materials
- Proficiency in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW, and knowledge of welding standards
- Strong ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and interpret mechanical blueprints accurately
- Skilled in measuring with calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and using hand tools effectively
- Mechanical knowledge of fabrication processes, machining and sheet metal fabrication
- Familiarity with shop safety protocols and proper use of power tools and hand tools
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high quality standards
- Strong functional shop math skills, with the ability to understand fractions and conversions to decimals.

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
