Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Non-Commissioned (unarmed) Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients and staff. This role involves monitoring premises, enforcing security protocols, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be attentive, responsible, and capable of handling various security situations with professionalism and integrity. Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security is preferred, along with certifications such as CPR and First Aid. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to safety while developing valuable skills in surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety.
- Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or other criminal activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Provide assistance to visitors or staff as needed, offering directions or support in emergency situations.
- Document incidents accurately through detailed reports for record-keeping and further action.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Maintain a visible presence to promote a secure environment and provide customer service.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is highly desirable.
- Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations calmly and effectively.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail in monitoring activities.
- Ability to remain alert during long shifts and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
