Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. This role is pivotal in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that every guest receives outstanding service from the moment they arrive until they leave. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for the culinary and hospitality industries, with a strong focus on guest relations.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly welcome.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, using the Clover POS system.
- Serve food and drinks to guests, ensuring timely delivery and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables after guests depart.
- Restocking beverage coolers also batching cocktail/ garnishes when needed
- Assist with food handling and adhere to food safety protocols to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns or special requests.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance the guest experience.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality by engaging with guests and building rapport.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of culinary practices, food handling, and food safety regulations.
- Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with Clover or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
