Job Duties

Maintain an inventory of equipment such as fire suppression systems, alarm systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, and ventilation systems.

Ensure that building norms and standards are observed by contractors during the construction process.

Supervisor contractors to verify that they are doing their jobs in line with construction laws and requirements.

Coordinate with architects and engineers to plan and schedule building projects.

Perform inspections and maintenance of mechanical systems such as boilers and air conditioning units.
-
Inspect fire safety equipment and preserve records of inspection results.
-
Prepare reports on building conditions and advise repairs and changes as required.
-
Monitor energy use and apply energy conservation measures such as installing energy-efficient lights and heaters.

Install and maintain security systems such as cameras and access control devices.
-
Assist with operations and maintenance concerns, troubleshooting, and problem resolution as necessary.

Perform some construction maintenance and electrical repair as required.
-
Aid in procurement and acquisition of new management contracts.
-
Mentor and coach team members to better enhance capabilities.
-
Assist in testing and maintenance of fire and safety equipment.
-
Lead/attend project kick-off workshops to ensure work plans are in place to assign sufficient resources, quality execution, and budgetary objectives are fulfilled.

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all HVAC equipment and other relevant gear.

Plan and monitor appropriate staffing levels and usage of workers, including overtime.

Direct contract discussions with customers and consultants, examine and approve fee proposals.
-
Keep accurate operating records of equipment across many builds.
-
Manage the build operational accounts and aid in the formulation of operating and capital budgets.
-
Establish effective staffing which meets the demands of customers and projects as well as effectively balances the firm’s resources.
-
Act as an internal and external advocate for the company.
Qualifications
-
Pneumatic HVAC Certified, chiller experience, electrical engineering, computer science, engineering, or information technology or similar experience.

A natural collaborator and problem solver with a good work ethic.
-
Solid time management and prioritizing abilities when multitasking.
-
Fluency in building operations including roofing, plumbing, ventilation, heaters, and condensers.
-
Comfortable running backup and recovery and operating systems.
-
Prior consultancy experience.
-
Will confidently use critical thinking abilities across all departments to accomplish assignments and projects.

Fluent in appropriate software and systems

Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
