Lobisser & Ferreira Construction Corp. is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor / Superintendent to oversee and manage field operations on commercial construction projects. This role requires a hands-on leader who can successfully run projects from start to finish, with a strong focus on quality, scheduling, and coordination.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of field supervision experience in construction
- Proven experience running commercial construction projects
- Strong experience with interior/tenant fit-out projects
- Experience with medical/healthcare fit-outs a strong plus
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and site logistics
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades
- Ability to manage project schedules and meet deadlines
- Strong understanding of safety standards and OSHA compliance
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in the field
Responsibilities
The Construction Supervisor / Superintendent will be responsible for daily on-site management of projects, including:
- Oversee all on-site construction activities from start to completion
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and trades
- Maintain project schedule and ensure timely completion of work
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized job site
- Review drawings and specifications to ensure work is performed correctly
- Identify and resolve field issues proactively
- Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with local building codes
- Conduct site meetings and communicate progress with project managers and ownership
- Monitor quality control and ensure high standards are maintained
- Track daily progress and maintain project documentation
- Assist with project closeout, punch lists, and final inspections
