Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Order Picker / Stocker to join our team in Leesburg, FL. In this role, you will play a vital part in our daily operations—ensuring inventory is accurately received, safely stored, and efficiently picked for deliveries. Key Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Collect order notes and accurately pick furniture and inventory items from storage areas using barcodes, serial numbers, and scanning equipment.
- Receiving & Inventory: Assist with receiving incoming shipments, process inventory receipts, and update stock levels accurately after items are retrieved.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate a forklift, furniture picker, and other specialized equipment to place and retrieve items from high storage racks.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while performing general warehouse duties as assigned.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly follow all company safety protocols, handling procedures, and leadership directives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or similar high-volume retail/distribution environment is highly preferred.
- Equipment Skills: Forklift and/or furniture picker experience is a strong plus.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to safely lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs unassisted and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Key Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent verbal communication, and the ability to work efficiently under deadline pressure.
- Attributes: Dependable, detail-oriented, and coachable with a strong desire to succeed and grow with the company.
