Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
- Monitor patients’ health
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation.
- Administer medications following care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
- Support clients with memory care needs, utilizing specialized techniques for safety and comfort.
- Provide assistance for appointments, errands, or community activities to promote social engagement and independence.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces.
- Follow all safety protocols during manual handling and patient transfers to prevent injuries for both clients and caregivers.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or in senior care environments such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities.
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, first aid, CPR, and emergency response procedures.
- Familiarity with care plans, patient monitoring tools, Hoyer lifts, patient transfer methods, and vital signs measurement.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or intellectual disabilities is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and assist with mobility using proper manual handling techniques.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams while maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA standards.
- Experience in home health care is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.47 per hour
