The Opportunity
We’re looking for a self-motivated, customer-focused Field Service Technician who can represent the DVC brand at a high level. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows how to read a customer, communicate value, and close — while also being comfortable on a ladder or in a tight attic space. If you have a background in home services, sales, or customer-facing work and you’re looking for a role with real earning potential and room to grow, this is it.
Starting Pay: $180–$200/day Tips & Commission: $1,000–$2,000/month additional Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (no nights, no weekends)
What You’ll Do
- Perform professional dryer vent inspections, cleanings, and repairs at residential properties
- Assess each system thoroughly and walk the customer through your findings
- Recommend and present applicable add-on services and products based on your inspection
- Handle customer questions with confidence and clarity
- Complete service documentation and invoicing accurately in the field
- Keep your company vehicle and equipment clean and properly maintained
- Represent DVC professionally at every job — appearance, attitude, and communication
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in sales, home services, or customer-facing work (strong preference)
- Comfortable working on rooftops and in attics — this is a physical, active role
- Able to climb and maneuver ladders and appliances safely
- Works well independently and handles problem-solving in the field without hand-holding
- Strong communicator — with customers, dispatch, and teammates
- Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
- Clean criminal background (required)
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening (required)
- Must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to the St. Johns, FL area (required)
