Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Health
Location: Alpena, Michigan
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: August 24, 2026
Shift: Days, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Weekends: None

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Home Health/Home Care RN experience required
- Active Michigan RN license required
- Active AHA BLS certification required
- Active driver's license required
- Reliable vehicle and active auto insurance required
- Clean DMV record required
- Experience with IVs, wound VACs, and central lines highly preferred
- 2 supervisory references from the last 2 years
- Current Home Health skills checklist required
- Permanent address required
- Candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted
- MI LTC fingerprinting results required before starting
- Epic experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assess clients' health needs and determine appropriate nursing care requirements
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care
- Coordinate and direct care provided by other nursing staff
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and modify interventions as needed
- Provide skilled nursing care in the home setting
- Monitor patient conditions and identify changes requiring intervention
- Provide nursing care across neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations as applicable
- Perform and manage IV therapy, wound VAC care, and central line care
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and ongoing care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established nursing standards
