E-Commerce Merchandising Coordinator
About the Role We are a fast-growing online fashion wholesale company looking for a detail-oriented and fashion-savvy E-Commerce Merchandising Coordinator to join our team. This person will play a key role in managing our wholesale website, curating product selections, handling vendor purchase orders, and ensuring our online store is always up to date and organized for our B2B buyers.
Responsibilities
Product Management & Uploading
- Upload new product listings to the wholesale website including photos, descriptions, pricing, and inventory
- Maintain and update existing product pages to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Organize products by category, season, and collection for easy buyer navigation
- Ensure all product information is complete, accurate, and visually presentable
Inventory & Merchandising
- Monitor and manage inventory levels across the wholesale platform
- Coordinate with the warehouse and purchasing team on stock availability
- Identify best-selling and slow-moving products and make recommendations accordingly
- Understand seasonal trends and plan product assortments accordingly
- Support the buying and product selection process for new merchandise
Vendor & Purchase Order Management
- Manage purchase orders (POs) with vendors and suppliers
- Follow up with vendors on PO status, delivery timelines, and shipment updates
- Track outstanding orders and ensure on-time delivery
- Communicate any delays or discrepancies to the appropriate team members
- Maintain organized records of all vendor POs and correspondence
E-Commerce Operations
- Manage and maintain the wholesale website on platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar
- Ensure the site is always up to date with current inventory and seasonal offerings
- Assist with order processing and coordinate with the warehouse and shipping team
Requirements
- Experience in e-commerce, merchandising, or wholesale fashion preferred
- Experience handling purchase orders and vendor communication
- Familiarity with online wholesale or retail platforms (Shopify or similar)
- Strong understanding of fashion seasons, trends, and product assortments
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Basic photo editing skills a plus
- Passion for fashion and wholesale retail strongly preferred
