Overview of the Role
As a DGD Service Technician, you are the face of our company. You’ll diagnose issues, present solutions, and deliver high-quality repairs and installations. This role requires strong customer interactions, technical skill, and the motivation to take ownership of your success.
What You’ll Do
- Lead all customer interactions within your assigned territory
- Diagnose garage door and opener problems with accuracy and confidence
- Present repair or replacement options clearly and professionally to homeowners
- Perform high-quality repairs and installations with a strong focus on safety and detail
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch and warehouse teams to keep your schedule efficient
- Keep your company-provided truck stocked, clean, and ready for daily service
- Stay up to date on garage door products, repair techniques, and industry trends
- Take ownership of your earnings through commission-driven work
Skills You Need
- Experience in a customer-facing, sales, or service-oriented role
- Familiarity with hand tools or mechanical work
- Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve in the field
- Comfortable lifting 50+ lbs and performing physical work
- Valid Driver’s License
- Availability for occasional evenings or weekends
- Professional appearance and communication
- Must be 25+ years old
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven success in commission-based or sales-driven roles
- Background in home services or mechanical trades
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Experience in the garage door industry (not required—training provided)

Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Brooksville, FL. Also open to candidates living near Ocala, Inverness, Belleview and Wildwood.
Relocation required before start date if not currently local.
