Responsibilities
- Assist senior stylists with hair cutting, coloring, styling, and finishing techniques while learning industry best practices.
- Support the salon team in maintaining a clean, sanitized environment following strict sanitation protocols.
- Learn to operate salon software systems Boulevard for appointment scheduling, client records, and retail inventory management.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients, answering questions about hair care products and services, and ensuring a positive salon experience.
- Assist with retail sales by upselling hair care products, hair extensions, makeup applications, nail care items, and other beauty products.
- Support front desk duties including appointment bookings, client communication, and managing client flow efficiently.
- Develop skills in specialized services such as eyelash lifts, facial waxing, social media, dressing for success, and barbering under supervision.
- Participate in mentoring sessions to refine your skills in hair coloring, color theory, hair styling, and cosmetology techniques.
Qualifications
- A genuine passion for the beauty industry with a strong desire to learn new skills.
- Dressing with intention as a stylist with hair and makeup everyday.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect confidently with clients and team members.
- Basic knowledge of salon software systems like Boulevard is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Prior experience working in a customer service or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of hair care products, hair coloring techniques, and sanitation standards is advantageous.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in salon work.
- A valid cosmetology or barbering license or enrollment in relevant training programs is preferred but not required; ongoing education will be supported.

Pay: $23.54 - $28.35 per hour
