Role Description
VBA is seeking a Superintendent to oversee field operations on commercial construction projects. The Superintendent works closely with the Project Manager to coordinate subcontractors, maintain project schedules, enforce safety standards, and ensure projects are completed on time and to VBA’s quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily job site operations and maintain project schedules
Coordinate subcontractors and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
Maintain site documentation including daily reports and inspections
Communicate regularly with the PMs regarding schedule, cost, and quality
Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and track project progress
Represent VBA professionally with clients, architects, and vendors
Support project closeout including punch lists and final inspections
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in commercial construction or field supervision
Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing job site activities
Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and OSHA standards
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Experience with Procore and Microsoft Office preferred
Massachusetts Construction Supervisor’s License and OSHA certification preferred

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
