SUMMARY:
The 1st shift Operations Supervisor is responsible for the management of individuals working on our boxing & labeling teams. This is a highly visible and demanding role that reports directly to the Director of Operations.
1st shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm (Monday - Friday)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of the department. The individual in this position will work with various customers and must meet the specifics/requirements of each unique, individual customer.
In addition, the Supervisor will be responsible for the following:
· Responsible for daily assignments and overall coordination of employees to ensure maximum performance, efficiency, and quality of functions
· Supports skill development activities for each team member
· Review employee hours each pay period, allocate hours appropriately, approve timesheets, and submit to payroll
· Perform employee corrective actions, coordinating with management and Human Resources
Qualifications:
· Supervisory or Lead experience
· 3+ years of demonstrated experience in cleanroom manufacturing
· Adaptability and Change Management Skills - Possess an energetic and positive attitude and be willing to change and develop as requirements of assigned tasks dictate
· Judgment and Decision Making – Solves problems, considers relevant alternatives before making decisions, displays intuitive judgment, shows timeliness
· Teamwork and Relationship-Building Skills – Assists team members in accomplishing their objectives by helping things go right, establishes effective working relationships, and promotes team efforts
· Ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities
· Mechanical Aptitude
· Attention to detail
· Ability to create spreadsheets and other documents
· Follow procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices and written instructions in English
· Interpersonal/leadership skills
