Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts, ensuring accuracy in billing and reservations using property management systems such as PEP or similar platforms
- Manage front desk operations during the overnight shift, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with professionalism and warmth
- Monitor security cameras and perform property inspections to uphold safety standards and hotel emergency procedures
- Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve issues with proactive customer service problem-solving skills
- Handle multi-line phone systems to assist guests, staff, and vendors efficiently while maintaining excellent phone etiquette
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and financial summaries for management review
- Support guest relations by providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations with a focus on night audits
- Strong knowledge of hospitality reservation systems such as PEP or comparable property management systems (PMS)
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to handle unexpected incidents confidently
- Excellent phone communication skills with proficiency in multi-line phone systems and client communication techniques
- Ability to solve customer service problems swiftly while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure
- Previous resort experience or hotel experience emphasizing guest services and guest relations is preferred
- Knowledge of hotel management software, property management systems (PMS), and reservation platforms is essential
