Job Overview
This front desk position requires a customer service-oriented attitude. You will be responsible for incoming clinic calls, routing calls to the appropriate department when needed, scheduling follow-up appointments, collecting co-pays, and patient check-out. Additionally, you may direct incoming patient triage calls to the appropriate provider-medical assistant team.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Checks patient out after appointments and schedules patients for follow up appointments
- Identify situations that require medical triage and route calls to the appropriate team
- Verifies patient information and updates it, if needed
- Provides patients with appropriate documents as indicated on checkout form
- Competent with basic office equipment including computers, scanners, fax and phones
Qualifications:
- Minimum of High School diploma
- Previous medical office experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills, strong understanding of HIPAA rules, medical terminology, organized, attention to detail
- Flexible, organized, dependable, team player, eager to learn, ability to problem solve
