Purpose and Scope of Position:
The Mill Generalist at Wheat Montana Mill plays a key role in the production of flour, cereal, grain, and milled products. This position ensures product quality, operational efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Handle raw materials, including unloading, storage, and transfer of grains.

Operate milling machinery to process grains into finished products.

Monitor product quality to ensure consistency and purity.

Perform routine equipment maintenance and report malfunctions.

Package finished products securely to maintain freshness.

Manage waste disposal in compliance with environmental standards.

Follow all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.

Track inventory levels for raw materials and finished goods.

Collaborate with team members and assist in various mill operations.

Experience and Education Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age to work around noisy and hot equipment and afternoon and evening shifts, if applicable

Must be fluent in English as a primary or secondary language to effectively communication with leadership and other team members

0-2 years’ experience in production environments, familiarity with production processes preferred
