Quality Care & Love is looking for a confident, outgoing and personable Field Outreach Representative to help us connect with families of medically fragile children and build relationships with potential referral sources throughout Augusta and surrounding areas.
This is a boots-on-the-ground outreach position, not a social media marketing role. We are looking for someone with canvassing, field outreach, grassroots marketing, direct sales or similar face-to-face experience who knows how to find opportunities, approach strangers and turn conversations into leads.
What You'll DoGenerate Your Own Outreach Leads
A major part of this position is identifying where our potential clients and referral sources are.
You'll research and identify relevant outreach opportunities throughout the Augusta area, including pediatric medical facilities, therapy practices, special needs schools/programs, and other organizations that regularly serve families of medically fragile or special needs children.
We don't want someone simply waiting for a list of places to visit. You should be able to recognize a good outreach opportunity, research it and pursue it.
Family Outreach
You'll spend approximately 2–3 hours per field outreach assignment engaging with parents and caregivers at appropriate locations and community events.
Your goal is to:
- Confidently approach parents and caregivers
- Start genuine conversations
- Introduce Quality Care & Love and explain our services
- Identify families who may benefit from our pediatric in-home care services
- Generate qualified leads for our team to follow up with
Build Referral Relationships
You'll also introduce Quality Care & Love to professionals and organizations that may encounter families who need our services.
When possible, you'll seek a brief 10–15 minute conversation with key contacts such as case managers, discharge planners, social workers, or other decision-makers and referral professionals.
Your goal is to introduce Quality Care & Love, explain who we serve, and show how our services may benefit the families they work with.
You'll also work to obtain direct contact information for appropriate referral contacts so our team can continue developing the relationship.
Periodic follow-up with offices and referral sources will also be part of the role.
Community Events
There may be additional opportunities to represent Quality Care & Love at resource fairs, special needs events, family events and other relevant community events throughout the area.

- $75 per 2–3 hour field outreach assignment
- Approximately 2–3 outreach assignments per week

Who We're Looking For
Previous canvassing or similar face-to-face outreach experience is strongly preferred.
We're looking for someone who is:

- Comfortable walking into a business or organization and introducing themselves
- Able to start and carry conversations naturally
- Persuasive without being pushy
- Professional when speaking with families and referral sources
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Organized and consistent with documenting leads and follow-up
- Reliable and comfortable traveling throughout the Augusta area
- Equipped with reliable transportation
Healthcare experience is helpful, but strong canvassing experience, confidence, resourcefulness and people skills are more important.
