Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in various settings, including acute care, long-term care, and outpatient facilities.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medication administration, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to NCQA standards.
- Utilize EMR systems effectively for documentation and patient management.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
- Experience in critical care, emergency medicine, or other relevant specialties is preferred.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
- Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation.
- Skills in IV insertion, medication administration, phlebotomy, and basic life support (BLS).
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology essential for effective patient assessment.
- Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in clinical documentation and patient care processes.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments such as Level I or II trauma centers.
