In-Home Personal Caregiver/Caregiver

In this role, you will provide essential care in the comfort of your client’s home while building meaningful relationships through conversation, companionship, and daily support.

Applicants must be willing to travel up to 30 miles within Lexington and surrounding areas and be available to work some weekends.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to be on time for assigned shifts.
- Ability to work independently.
- Provide essential non-medical assistance to individuals in their homes, assist with daily activities and ensure the well-being of the client.
- Ability to access work schedule and accurately follow client care plans using the internet.
Job responsibilities vary from client to client, including:
- Provide companionship and conversation while being attentive to the unique needs of the client.
- Maintain a clean environment with light housekeeping and preparing meals, running errands, grocery shopping, and transportation.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Ability to assist clients with mobility, including standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
- Provide and/or assist with grooming, bathing, dressing, toileting, and managing incontinence issues.
Please note that applicants who successfully complete the hiring process will be required to attend a one-day orientation at our Lexington office prior to beginning employment.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
