Job Summary
Partners In Home Care is seeking an experienced Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team at Hope Hospice Center in Missoula, Montana. This contract position primarily supports the inpatient hospice unit during night and weekend shifts, with occasional day shift coverage and the opportunity to assist with in-home hospice visits based on patient census.

Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate nursing care focused on comfort and symptom management for hospice patients.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Assess patient conditions and respond appropriately to changing care needs.
- Supervise and delegate appropriate patient care tasks to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
- Monitor CNA documentation and provide coaching and support.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning.
- Educate and support patients' families and caregivers throughout the end-of-life journey.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Follow infection prevention and patient safety protocols.
Qualifications
Required
- Active Montana RN license or Compact RN license.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in:
- Hospice
- Palliative Care
- Critical Care
- Medical-Surgical Nursing
- Experience working in a unionized healthcare environment.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Pay: $60.00 - $63.00 per hour
