We are seeking a CNC Machinist / CNC Programmer to join a busy manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys working with CNC equipment, precision measurement, setup, troubleshooting, and machining processes.
The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of machining experience and be comfortable working with precision measuring instruments, reading technical information, and following established manufacturing procedures.
CNC programming and experience with FANUC or Mazatrol/Mazak controls are preferred, but candidates with strong hands-on machining experience, technical training, or apprenticeship experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Support CNC machining and programming activities.
- Set up CNC machines and assist with tooling, fixtures, offsets, and workholding.
- Troubleshoot and optimize machining processes.
- Read and interpret measurement data using precision metrology equipment.
- Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Read and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing instructions.
- Follow established manufacturing procedures and work instructions.
- Learn and apply company-specific machining techniques and programming practices.
- Make adjustments to machining processes to maintain quality and productivity.
- Maintain quality, safety, and productivity standards.
- Work closely with the production team to meet manufacturing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of relevant machining or manufacturing experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and use precision measuring instruments, including:
- Micrometers
- Calipers
- Ability to follow instructions, learn quickly, and adapt to established processes.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent relevant experience.
Education
An Associate's Degree in Machine Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Machining, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
Candidates without a degree may qualify through relevant:
- Machining experience
- Apprenticeship experience

- CNC training
- Manufacturing experience
Preferred Qualifications
- CNC programming experience.
- Familiarity with FANUC CNC controls.
- Experience with Mazatrol/Mazak programming or software.
- Knowledge of G-Code programming.
- CNC machine setup experience.
- Experience troubleshooting machining processes.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Additional technical or manufacturing training.

- Monday–Friday
- 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
- Onsite position
- No travel required
- Overtime may be available but is not required
