Duties
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and plating dishes according to standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas through regular cleaning and sanitizing tasks
- Support bussing and clearing tables to ensure a tidy dining environment
- Handle manual lifting of supplies, ingredients, and equipment following safe lifting practices
- Serve food and beverages efficiently during service periods, including food running when needed
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and transactions
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all items
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and kitchen safety standards
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during shifts
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction
- Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Familiarity with hospitality or hotel service environments is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to work quickly and accurately in a busy setting while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
