J*A busy and growing interventional pain management practice is seeking a Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP or APRN)* to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced physicians in the evaluation and management of patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and manage patients with chronic pain conditions under physician supervision
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments including history and physical examinations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Manage medication regimens and monitor patient progress
- Provide patient education regarding pain management strategies
- Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Assist with pre- and post-procedure patient care when applicable
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Current PA-C or NP certification
- Active or eligible state license
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- SC Controlled Substance License
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, or physical medicine & rehabilitation preferred but not required
Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
