Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Bus Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in various driving roles, including paratransit, school bus driving, shuttle driving, and delivery driver experience.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a bus following a set schedule and route
- Transport passengers to their destinations in a timely manner
- Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained and report any mechanical issues
- Communicate effectively with passengers to provide assistance and information
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized bus interior
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Bus Driver or in related commercial driving roles
- Familiarity with mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance
- Experience in paratransit, school bus driving, van driver, shuttle driving, or delivery driver roles is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with passengers from diverse backgrounds
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Ability to speak English fluently
