Join Our Team as a Medical Assistant!
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our wonderful team! This is a full-time position working approximately 40 hours per week.
You do not need to be a Certified Medical Assistant to apply. However, previous Medical Assistant experience is preferred. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with patients, is a team player, and is comfortable in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers in delivering quality patient care
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Take and accurately record vital signs, including blood pressure and temperature
- Administer medications and injections under the direction of a healthcare provider
- Collect specimens, perform venipuncture, and assist with basic laboratory testing
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, supplies, and medical equipment
- Assist with patient education and provide instructions for at-home care
- Help manage patient records, appointments, and other administrative tasks
- Provide general support to providers and the rest of the healthcare team
- Assist is Prior Authorizations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous Medical Assistant or clinical experience preferred, but certification is not required
- Comfortable taking vital signs, administering injections, performing venipuncture, and collecting specimens
- Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn!

Pay: Up to $22.50 per hour
