Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Direct Support Professional to provide exceptional care and assistance to individuals with diverse needs. In this vital role, you will empower clients to live as independently as possible while ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.
Duties
- Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal consumption to promote proper nutrition
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and sanitation practices in residential or community settings
- Document care activities accurately and update care plans regularly to reflect evolving needs
- Provide emotional support, companionship, and engagement to enhance clients’ quality of life
Hours:
Monday- Friday: 2pm-11pm
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
