Job Summary
Adriana's is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of skills to handle various maintenance and repair tasks in office settings. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting.
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify issues that require attention.
- Respond promptly to service requests from team members.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards at all times.
- Will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials including carpet, tile, VCT, LVT, sheet vinyl
Pay Rate: $22-$27
Schedule: Monday- Friday weekends as needed (full time position with benefits)
Experience
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, handyman, or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of various repair techniques and tools.
- Must have recent experience from floor removal, prep, and installation.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and efficiently.
- Excellent physical condition and strength; able to lift heavy objects when necessary.
- A valid driver’s license is required
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in maintenance work.
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
