Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience. This position has flexible start times with days averaging around 11 hours. Daily route is from our terminal in Neenah to rail yards in Chicago. Guaranteed home every night.
Duties
- Safely operate assigned vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including route information and delivery confirmations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery status and any issues that arise.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year experience driving tractor-trailers.
- Strong understanding of route driving and delivery driver responsibilities.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to deliver on time.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with dispatch.
- Commitment to safety standards and practices while on the road.
