Position Overview:
MONDAY-FRIDAY. NO NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS.
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, safety-minded, and committed to developing technical skills. We will provide all required training and mentorship with a clear path to grow into a Master Technician. This role performs basic vehicle maintenance and repair tasks while learning diagnostics, shop procedures, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, fluid checks, and filter replacements
- Follow service orders, safety procedures, and shop protocols
- Keep work area, tools, and equipment clean and organized
- Log work performed and parts used accurately in shop management system
- Communicate clearly with technicians and service advisors about vehicle status
- Participate in on-the-job training, classroom sessions, and manufacturer training as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic mechanical aptitude or coursework in automotive technology (preferred but not required)
- Valid driver’s license; clean driving record
- Strong willingness to learn, punctuality, and good teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced shop environment
Career Path:
- Immediate: Entry-Level Technician — hands-on training in routine maintenance and basic repairs
- 12–18 months: Intermediate Technician — independent diagnosis and repair of common systems
- 24–48 months: Advanced Technician — complex diagnostics, electronic systems, and leadership of small jobs
- 5-7+ years: Master Technician — expert-level diagnostics, manufacturer certifications, mentoring others, and potential shop leadership

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
