Morrison’s Auto is hiring a reliable Delivery Driver in Edgerton, WI.
This position involves delivering automotive parts to customers and picking up vehicles from auctions and other locations. Drivers will operate company flatbed trucks and must be comfortable loading, securing, transporting, and unloading vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company flatbed trucks for parts deliveries and vehicle pickups
- Deliver automotive parts to customers and businesses
- Pick up vehicles from auctions and other locations
- Load and unload vehicles from flatbed trucks
- Properly secure vehicles for transportation
- Load and unload automotive parts and materials
- Verify parts and orders before leaving the facility
- Complete delivery and pickup paperwork
- Obtain signatures when required
- Pick up returned parts and materials from customers
- Provide professional and courteous customer service
- Keep company vehicles clean and organized
- Perform basic vehicle and equipment checks
- Follow all company safety procedures and driving policies
- Report any vehicle or equipment issues
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Must be comfortable driving a flatbed truck
- Must be comfortable loading, securing, transporting, and unloading vehicles
- Ability to safely maneuver and back a flatbed truck
- Previous driving, delivery, towing, or automotive experience preferred
- Dependable and punctual
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Able to work independently
- Able to safely lift and move automotive parts and materials
- Must be comfortable driving in various weather and road conditions
Physical Requirements
This is a physically active position. The job requires frequent loading and unloading of vehicles and automotive parts. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, climb, push, pull, and lift throughout the workday.
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
