Static Media is a fast-growing digital media company reaching 220M+ readers each month. In addition to our leading brands across entertainment, lifestyle, and home, we operate a portfolio of seven well-established food brands.
We’re looking for talented freelance writers to join our food features team. This opening is primarily for Chowhound, with the potential to contribute to other food brands in the future.

What You’ll Do
- Choose from a curated list of feature topics
- Research and write 2,600- to 3,000-word articles in our custom CMS
- Turn around clean drafts within 1–7 days, depending on assignment
- Follow our editorial strategy and style guide to keep quality high and tone consistent

What You’ll Need
- At least 3+ years of editorial or writing experience
