Duties
- Lead daily café operations by supervising cashier and barista staff, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards
- Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages with precision, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks
- Process retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling, beverage preparation stations, and customer seating areas
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a friendly environment
- Manage food safety protocols by following proper food handling procedures and ensuring compliance with health regulations
- Assist with training new team members on POS systems, beverage recipes, food safety practices, and customer service expectations
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service or café environments with barista experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail transactions
- Demonstrated ability in cash handling, processing cash transactions accurately, and managing sales efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for cash register operations and inventory management
- Experience in beverage preparation and food safety standards required
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, drink service, and café operations is highly desirable
