RoboMindTech is an award-winning S.T.E.M. center that introduces children in kindergarten through 8th grade to creative thinking, science, and technology. As we rapidly expand, we're looking for smart, dynamic, and passionate educators to join our team and help meet the growing demand for quality STEM education.
Role Overview
You'll assist in LEGO-based learning workshops where students engage in hands-on building and robotics activities. The focus is on developing problem-solving skills and foundational knowledge across structures, literacy, math, and science — from creative building all the way to competitive robotics.
Qualifications
- Hands-on technical experience with LEGO Robotics, VEX, Arduino, or similar platforms preferred — training available for the right candidate
- Ability to create, analyze, troubleshoot, and build LEGO models alongside students
- At least 1 year of teaching or teaching assistant experience with children
- Strong ability to connect with and inspire children
- Passionate, energetic, and adaptable — able to develop science/robotics activities and write lesson plans
- Dependable and punctual, with a willingness to learn and grow
- Able to explain basic science and technology principles in simple, accessible terms
- Team player and strong communicator, with the ability to help train and support other staff
- Prior robotics team experience (FRC, FTC, FLL, VEX) and/or coaching background is a plus
