Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate various Acoustical Ceiling & Wall projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies and tools, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within scope. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Duties
- Manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Utilize content management systems to streamline project documentation and communication.
- Coordinate project activities using software tools for effective tracking and reporting.
- Implement effective principles to foster a culture of continuous improvement within project teams.
- Conduct data analysis to inform decision-making and identify areas for process enhancement.
- Develop and maintain project scopes, timelines, and budgets while ensuring all stakeholders are informed of progress.
- Facilitate regular meetings with team members to discuss project status, challenges, and solutions.
- Prepare and present project updates to senior management and owner.
- Being responsible for any delays, emergencies and problems that can arise.
- Developing deliverable schedules & documents as a roadmap for the construction field team.
- Negotiating with vendors and making informed decisions to stay within financial constraints.
- Making sure that appropriate materials are being ordered and delivered to the warehouse in a timely manner.
- Ability to read acoustical ceiling and wall panel blueprints to make certain that all items within the scope are included.
- Any other relevant duties pertinent to the job.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction project coordination or management roles, with a strong understanding of scope management principles.
- Familiarity with project engineering concepts is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in using project management platform tools.
- Strong data analysis skills to interpret metrics and drive performance improvements.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on achieving results through collaboration.
