Overview
We are looking to hire a Full-Time Apprentice Electrician with at least 1 year experience to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
Assist with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across various sites. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform tasks such as wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs. Support the setup and operation of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Conduct routine inspections using tools like ohmmeters to test electrical circuits for continuity and safety. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or coursework in electrical technology is a plus. Some experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is preferred. Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprints, and construction practices is highly desirable. Strong interest in learning about low voltage and high voltage electrical systems within construction environments. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately; prior experience reading blueprints is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety procedures at all times. Reliable work ethic with the willingness to learn from experienced professionals on-site. Pay: $21.00 - $32.00 per hour
