Coconino Community College is creating a pool of interested instructors to teach and train students in automotive technology. Instructors may teach courses, labs, and hands-on training in one or more of the following areas:

Automotive Maintenance and Diagnostics
The ideal candidate possesses substantial experience in the automotive industry, a passion for workforce development, and the ability to prepare students for careers in the rapidly evolving automotive industry. Instructions may include theory, diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair procedures, and industry safety standards.
Knowledge of automotive engine operation, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair. Knowledge of electric vehicle systems, battery technologies, charging systems, and high-voltage safety procedures. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot automotive mechanical and electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications. Ability to effectively demonstrate automotive repair and maintenance procedures. Ability to foster student engagement and create a positive learning environment.
