Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly as part of regular job duties.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the work area for the duration of the shift (excluding breaks and meal periods).
Communication and Safety
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to understand safety instructions, operating procedures, and workplace communication.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal directions to maintain a safe and efficient workplace.
Attendance and Reliability
- Must be able to work scheduled shifts consistently and on time, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs require.
- Reliable transportation to and from work is required.
Work Environment and Conduct
- Must comply with all company safety policies, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Must maintain professional behavior and demonstrate teamwork and respect toward others in the workplace.
- Must be able to work in environments that may include varying temperatures, noise levels, and manufacturing equipment.
Eligibility and Verification
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to provide documentation verifying identity and employment eligibility in accordance with federal and Ohio law.
Production Line Packer (Set Pack)
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $20.75/hr.
- $1,000 perfect attendance bonus after 60 days of employment
- Benefits Eligibility: Full benefits available after 30 days of employment
- Vacation: 1 Week of PTO after 61 days of employment
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday: 10:50pm - 6:50am
- Overtime: Paid at 1.5x for hours over 40 per week
Pre-Employment Requirements
Drug Test:
- In accordance with company policy and applicable Ohio and federal employment laws, all candidates are required to complete a pre-employment urine drug screening.
- For Selector/Packer, and Finishing positions only, a positive result for marijuana or THC on the initial pre-employment drug test may be permitted.
- Following hire, all employees are subject to the company’s Drug-Free Workplace Policy. Any positive drug test result for marijuana or THC after employment, or refusal to submit to a requested drug test, will be considered a violation of company policy and may result in termination of employment.
Background Check: Completed after orientation
- In accordance with company policy and applicable Ohio and federal employment laws, the following criminal convictions will result in disqualification from employment, regardless of the date of conviction:
- Murder or aggravated murder
- Hate crime or terrorism-related offenses
- Sexual offense convictions (due to the company’s proximity to a school)
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Select, inspect, and gauge ware according to quality standards
- Pack and palletize products per packing specifications and procedures
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing product complies with Bill of Material, pallet diagram, and load ticket requirements
- Operate or assist with automatic decorating machines and packaging equipment
- Perform job changes and cullet breakdown as required
- Maintain clean work areas and follow safety protocols
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervision
