We are seeking a Technical Director for Wastewater Treatment to lead and expand wastewater engineering services across multiple regions. This role combines technical expertise with strategic leadership to drive business growth, mentor teams, and deliver high-quality wastewater projects. You will oversee project execution, participate in business development, and ensure technical excellence across consulting and operational assignments.
- Lead and grow wastewater engineering services, supporting business development and project delivery.
- Collaborate with leadership, marketing, and operations teams to achieve strategic and business development goals.
- Guide pursuit strategies, proposals, and Go/No-Go decisions for wastewater projects.
- Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering expertise and consistent best practices.
- Oversee technical aspects of wastewater projects, including consulting assignments, process design, and peer review.
- Serve as a recognized technical resource in wastewater treatment, contributing to innovative solutions and operational improvements.
- Participate in industry networks and associations to maintain and enhance technical leadership and visibility.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
- 15+ years of experience in wastewater treatment process engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligible to obtain.
- Demonstrated experience leading business development and managing project deliveries.
- Proven ability to mentor and develop diverse teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Engagement in water industry organizations and professional networks is a plus.
