Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Collision Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations in the collision repair sector. Duties
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of production management within the collision repair manufacturing plant, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Utilize ERP systems such as SAP and other manufacturing management tools to monitor production workflows, inventory levels, and supply chain operations.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing production data using Excel and supply chain analytics to identify bottlenecks and develop effective solutions.
- Oversee quality control procedures to ensure products meet strict industry standards and customer expectations while maintaining safety compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including supply chain management, assembly, and quality assurance—to optimize process flow and support plant management objectives.
- Develop and manage production schedules aligned with customer demands while maintaining flexibility for process improvements and unforeseen challenges.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in production management within manufacturing environments, preferably in collision repair or automotive sectors.
- Strong knowledge of SAP, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), ERP systems, and production management systems.
- Expertise in lean manufacturing, lean management, process improvement, and supply chain management principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel data analysis for tracking KPIs, identifying trends, and supporting decision-making processes.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma tools and methodologies to drive quality enhancements and operational excellence.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, foster cross-functional communication, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes including assembly lines, production scheduling, quality control protocols, and plant operations management.
