Primary Responsibilities:
Sales and Customer Service:
- Assist clients at the sales counter with a focus on selling fine jewelry and watches.
- Guide customers in selecting gifts and facilitate the intake of items for repair, appraisal, or engraving.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and follow-up.
- Enter essential client information into the CRM system, including names, contact details, important dates, and wish list items.
Product and Service Knowledge:
- Acquire in-depth knowledge about the store's product lines, pricing, and the capabilities of both suppliers and the in-house repair/manufacturing facility.
- Advise customers accurately by staying informed about the products sold and services offered, such as repairs and maintenance.
Operations and Merchandising:
- Maintain the store's visual and merchandising standards to ensure a pleasing and clean showroom.
- Adhere to strict security procedures to protect merchandise and customer items in for repair or appraisal.
- Manage the check-in and replenishment of merchandise, ensuring the availability of a proper product mix.
- Handle inventory counts and follow all procedures for inventory management.
Repair and Service Management:
- Complete customer repair envelopes and liaise with the repair department to ensure estimates and repairs are completed timely.
- Manage the inflow and outflow of repair jobs, ensuring clear communication with clients regarding estimates, updates, and completion of repairs.
- Encourage clients to consider upgrades when it is in their best interest, facilitating a seamless transition from repair to purchase.
Professionalism and Team Cooperation:
- Maintain professional standards in dress and appearance.
- Cooperate with fellow associates and management, embracing teamwork and a collaborative work environment.
- Comply with all store procedures, including but not limited to attendance, tardiness, and accepting additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Follow written or oral direction from management as it relates to job duties and responsibilities.
Continuous Learning and Development:
- Complete coursework and tests as required for professional development.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
