Salem Lutheran Children's Center in Jarrettsville, Maryland is looking for a qualified Teacher's Aide to join our team! If you are enthusiastic, dependable, and love to work with children, Salem could be the place for you.
We are currently accepting applications for an Aide in our school age and preschool classrooms. The program has weekly themes, creative projects, monthly library and music visitors, and fun! This position is Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a fun, safe, and enriching learning environment for children
- Help create an atmosphere where every family feels welcome
- Assist the lead teacher with the implementation of daily activities
Requirements for Aide Position:
- must be 16 years of age
- experience working with children is preferred
- Must meet all requirements for employment criteria set by MSDE, including a criminal background check and medical report
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Physical requirements: We don't sit on the job! Must be able to: bend, squat, stand for long periods of time, sit on the floor, etc.
Salary: Varies based upon education and experience

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
