We are seeking an experienced Residential Construction Project Manager to oversee projects from pre-construction through warranty completion. This role is best suited for a seasoned construction professional who can lead projects independently, communicate clearly, solve problems proactively, and maintain momentum across multiple active jobsites.

Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for managing residential construction projects from planning through completion, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, quality control, client communication, budgeting, documentation, and warranty follow-up.
Projects may include custom homes, additions, renovations, and high-end residential construction ranging approximately from $500K–$4M.
This role requires strong leadership, organization, accountability, decision-making, and communication skills. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing field operations, client relationships, and administrative responsibilities while maintaining high standards for quality and execution.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage residential construction projects from pre-construction through completion and warranty
- Coordinate schedules, subcontractors, inspections, materials, and project timelines
- Maintain project budgets and monitor job costs
- Review plans and specifications to ensure construction accuracy and code compliance
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding progress, selections, scheduling, and project updates
- Identify, document, and communicate scope changes and field adjustments
- Coordinate with design, estimating, purchasing, accounting, and operations teams
- Maintain organized project documentation and records
- Enforce jobsite safety standards and monitor subcontractor compliance
- Conduct project walkthroughs and quality control inspections throughout construction
- Resolve issues proactively to maintain project momentum and client satisfaction
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and clients
- Support continuous improvement in construction processes, systems, and communication
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in residential construction project management, superintendent, or field management roles
- Experience managing custom homes, renovations, or high-end residential projects
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, sequencing, building codes, and safety standards
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with construction management software and digital project documentation
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening, where permitted by law
Preferred Qualifications
- NC General Contractor license or qualifier status
- Experience with Buildertrend or similar construction management platforms
- Experience working in design-build residential construction
- Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred but not required

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
