Duties
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care, adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols
- Collect, label, and process specimens accurately for laboratory testing, ensuring specimen integrity throughout handling
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient information, and specimen tracking in accordance with clinic policies
- Provide exceptional patient service by explaining procedures clearly, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort during collection
- Follow laboratory procedures and techniques to uphold quality standards in specimen collection and processing
- Assist with maintaining a clean, organized work environment, including sterilization of equipment and supplies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proven laboratory experience or clinical laboratory experience with knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques
- Certification or training in phlebotomy, venipuncture, and blood sampling methods preferred; IV Certification is a plus
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly desirable
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a high level of professionalism

Pay: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour
