Capuchino Therapy Group is actively hiring Travel Physical Therapists (PTs) for exciting contract opportunities throughout the Greater Sacramento Area and Northern California. We are seeking experienced travelers interested in either school-based therapy assignments or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) placements.

We are currently interviewing for the 2026–2027 School Year as well as ongoing SNF and rehabilitation assignments.
Travel Physical Therapist Job Details

Position: Travel Physical Therapist (PT)
Pay Starting From: $2,500+ Weekly (DOE)
Schedule: Full-Time Contract
Start Date: Flexible
Assignment Length: 13+ Weeks

Travel Physical Therapist Responsibilities
School-Based Physical Therapist
- Provide physical therapy services to students with disabilities and developmental needs
- Conduct evaluations and assessments
- Develop treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
Skilled Nursing Facility Physical Therapist
- Evaluate and treat adult and geriatric patients
- Develop individualized rehabilitation programs
- Improve mobility, balance, strength, and functional independence
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Complete timely documentation and progress reports
- Assist with discharge planning and patient education
Travel Physical Therapist Requirements
Required
✔ Active California Physical Therapist License (or ability to obtain)
✔ Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent accredited degree
✔ Current CPR/BLS Certification
✔ Minimum one year of recent Physical Therapy experience
Preferred
- Previous Travel Therapy experience
- School-Based Physical Therapy experience
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience
- Experience working with IEPs and educational teams
